Tell us about yourself. Where are you from? Where do/did you go to high school/college? What are some of your main interests and hobbies?

Carolina Catalino – I am a proud Dominican, i lived part of my life in Puerto Rico with my mom and sisters. I always wanted to be a lawyer but I was never too crazy about going to college, at the same time i knew this was the only way i could to improve my life, so i diced to go to college and get at least a associated degree.  I attend to BCC (Bronx Community College).

My main interest and hobbies are working out, dancing (any type of music), shopping, spending time with my family and to relax.

What’s your background in modeling? When and why did you get started? Was it for the glamor? The money? Pure kicks?

Carolina Catalino – My background in modeling are prints, magazines, music videos, commercials etc… I always new I wanted to be a model since I was a little girl, my first casting was in Puerto Rico and I heard on the radio about an audition for a movie, thats when I met my first agent.  I will never forget this day because I was selected and I know this was just the beginning of making my dream come true.  Modeling was my passion and that was the main reason why I wanted to do it.

Who are some of your favorite models and designers, and why?

Carolina Catalino – I’m a fan of fashion, I love fashion and i also love to have my own SWAG lol. I love wearing bright colors and shiny stuff, sexy elegant etc… I know how to put my outfits together best example was when I attended to my recent event for the 2012 Latin Grammy’s i was one of the best dressed on the red carpet, i was very proud.   I have different designers that I love but my favorite is Michael Kors, his styles always has everthing you need to look fabulous.

Where do you generally shop?

Carolina Catalino – One thing I don’t like is to shop in big stores OMG it drives me crazy when I have to look for something in a big store. Im more like a small boutique type, I like to shop in Soho NYC.  There’s all this nice boutiques, but I have to admit that I love shopping soo much that everywhere I go is always something I want to buy.

Carolina Catalino – What distinguishes a good model from a bad one is the good model never hate they compete.  This business is very tough and its a lot of competition out there but if you are confident about yourself thats all you need.

What do you dislike about modeling?

Carolina Catalino – The entertainment offers good and bad, happy and sad moments, its not like is everything nice and beautiful like a lot of girls think. But what I hate the most in this career is that you can’t trust nobody you never know who are your enemies.

What advice do you have for other aspiring models?

Carolina Catalino – I would like to advice to all aspirant models out there is that you have to know what you want in life, where do you want to get, once you know this work hard and hard everyday to accomplish your goals.  But the most important thing is always get back up when you fall down, never paid attention to any negative comments.  “Sky is the limit”

Carolina Catalino – Thanks to Eleet Magazine for giving me the opportunity to let the people to know more about me, also so you can know about my projects, i been very busy working on all my tv shows, im hosting for “Qtv” (Spanish show on Telemicro), Co host of “Comedy After Dark” along with Jenna Jameson, Trina and Rosa Acosta (would air soon).

I’m hosting my own TV Show “Musica y Mas Tv”, i had the opportunity to work with Tracy Morgan on the last episode of “30 Rocks”, my other project is “Beauty and the Beast” is a comedy and romantic show where i been having soo much fun with Michael Blackson the comedian, you can check that out on  www.youtube.com/walterlatham
