A Haunted House Scores Big at Box Office

Open Road Films’ A Haunted House raked in $18.1M at the box office this weekend, taking the #2 spot behind Zero Dark Thirty and exceeding industry expectations. That’s the best opening for a spoof movie since 2006′s Date Movie ($19.1M). Experts predict that the film will ultimately earn between $35 and $40 million.
